Monarch Education are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to support a secondary school in the Perry Barr area.
This is a full-time, long-term role starting in September, offering stability and the opportunity to build experience within a supportive school environment.
The role will involve supporting students across a range of subjects, both in class and through small group or 1:1 interventions. You will be working closely with teachers and pastoral staff to help students stay engaged and make progress. A key part of the role will also include supporting students with SEND, SEMH, or additional needs, as well as assisting with behaviour and wellbeing throughout the school day.
The school are open to candidates from a range of backgrounds, including experienced Teaching Assistants, graduates looking to gain school-based experience, behaviour mentors, SEND support staff, or anyone with experience supporting young people.
To be considered, you will need experience working with children or young people, a calm and patient approach, and the confidence to support behaviour in a school setting. Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are also important.
This is a strong opportunity for someone looking for consistency, experience in education, and the chance to make a genuine impact on students who need additional support.
