Monarch Education are working in Partnership with Primary Schools in Worsley area of Salford, and are looking to engage with experienced Teaching Assistants who are looking for full time opportunities with schools through Monarch. Successful candidates would supporting pupils in small groups to help bridge attainment gaps in the core areas. You will need to be confident with the National Curriculum at Key Stage 2 level and how to accelerate pupil progress at this level across Reading, Maths and Writing.
You will need to be confident working on your own with pupils but also work well as part of the class team; linking in your observations with the class teacher and other Teaching Assistants to help identify next steps. You will need to be enthusiastic about pupil learning and be committed to ensuing the classroom provides an exciting place for pupils to learn.
Experience working with Key stage 2 pupils is essential, you must be available full time 08.30 to 15.30 Mon – Fri each week during term time. Roles are through Monarch Education but can lead to permanent contracts with schools for candidates who make a good impression.
