Teaching Assistant – Primary

Location: Central Gloucester, GL1
When: November 2023 Start
Hours: School days – 08:30am to 15:30pm
Pay: £11.50 – £13.00/hour (paid on a weekly basis)

Monarch Education are recruiting enthusiastic and confident individuals to work within a Primary school in Gloucester. It will be on a general basis where you will be assisting the teacher in the classroom; a small group basis where you will be supporting groups of 4 to 6 students that are needing that little bit more attention; and a 1-2-1 basis where you will be working with a student individually that may require extra support and needs.

The successful Teaching Assistant candidate will have:

• Right to work in the UK
• Minimum of 6 months experience working within a care/education sector
• Passion for children’s development in education
• DBS certificate on the update service, otherwise a willingness to apply for a one.
• Sufficient references from previous employers
