We are currently recruiting for a full-time Year 1 Teacher to join a small and welcoming primary school in Great Barr (B43). This is a long-term opportunity, offering the chance to work in a close-knit environment with a small class of just 13 pupils.

Role Available:

🔹 Year 1 Teacher (Full Time)
* Teaching a small Key Stage 1 class of 13 pupils
* Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
* Creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment

About the role:

• Monday to Friday – Full time (term time only)
  * Based in Great Barr (B43)
  * Long-term position with potential to continue
  * Full classroom responsibilities including planning, preparation, and assessment
  * Working collaboratively with a supportive leadership team and school staff

What we’re looking for:

We are seeking a committed, experienced, and enthusiastic teacher with a passion for supporting young learners.

You will:
* Have recent experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (within the last 2 years, with references)
* Be confident planning and delivering lessons to meet a range of needs
* Have strong classroom management skills
* Be able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
* Work effectively as part of a team
* Be committed to creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
* Ideally be local to the area or able to travel to B43

Please note: This role is not suitable for ECTs – applicants must have prior teaching experience.
