We are currently recruiting for a full-time Year 3 Teacher to join an outstanding primary school in Selly Oak (B29). This is a long-term opportunity starting in September, offering the chance to work in a high-performing and well-supported school environment.

Role Available:

🔹 Year 3 Teacher (Full Time)
* Teaching a Key Stage 2 class
* Delivering engaging lessons using pre-prepared planning and resources
* Working within a structured and supportive curriculum framework

About the role:

  • Monday to Friday – Full time (term time only)
    * Based in Selly Oak (B29)
    * Starting September
    * Long-term position with potential to continue
    * Full classroom responsibilities including delivery and assessment
    * Planning is minimal – all subjects are pre-planned and available via the school system
    * Maths is supported through clear frameworks and schemes
    * Working collaboratively with a supportive and experienced staff team

What we’re looking for:

We are seeking a confident, experienced, and enthusiastic teacher who can thrive in a structured and well-supported teaching environment.

You will:
* Have recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (within the last 2 years, with references)
* Be confident delivering lessons across the KS2 curriculum
* Be comfortable working with pre-set planning and schemes of work
* Have strong classroom management skills
* Be able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
* Work effectively as part of a team
* Be committed to creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
* Ideally be local to the area or able to travel to B29

Please note: This role is not suitable for ECTs – applicants must have prior teaching experience.
