Job Title: Year 4 Class Teacher – Full-Time
Location: Birmingham, B20
Contract Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Monarch Education is currently recruiting for a confident and experienced Year 4 Class Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the B20 area of Birmingham. This full-time role is to start in January and is ideal for a skilled practitioner who can deliver high-quality teaching and learning in Key Stage 2. Please note: this role is not open to Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning, independence, and wellbeing.
• Assess pupil progress and use data to inform planning and interventions.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents/carers to ensure every child achieves their full potential.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and school events.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – not open to ECTs.
• Proven experience teaching in KS2, ideally in Year 4.
• Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• A commitment to pupil progress, wellbeing, and inclusive education.
• Enthusiastic, reflective, and proactive approach to teaching.
