A one form entry school in Edgbaston, Birmingham are looking to appoint a part-time experienced year 6 Class Teacher from Monday 8th April until July 2024. Permenant opportunity potentially available for the new academic year.

The position will be three days a week Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, full class teacher responsibilities will be required.

This post is suitable for a teacher with some proven experience with this age-group and, as a small school, all teachers beyond their ECT period are expected to co-ordinate a foundation subject.

  • Have Qualified teacher status (QTS)
  • Have previous KS2 Teaching experience
  • Be able to provide 2 educational references which can support your teaching experience
  • Hold a DBS which is registered online with the DBS update service or be willing to apply for a new DBS
