Infant School Teacher

Monarch Education are currently working with a mainstream primary school within the Blackburn area, who are seeking an experienced Classroom Teacher. The position could be in one of the Reception classes or one of the KS1 classes

• Full time, Mon – Fri.
• Ofsted Graded ‘Good’ School
• Blackburn BB2 area

Responsibilities:

• Creating a fun environment for the children
• Planning, teaching, marking and assessing children’s work
• Ensuring children are engaged
• Adapting to individual pupil’s needs
• Following the up to date Early Years framework

The Class teacher will need to be:

• An excellent classroom practitioner, with high expectations of children’s achievements, attainment and behaviour.
• A good role model.
• Optimistic, embracing new ideas, challenges and change.
• Passionate, able to motivate and inspire the children they teach.
• Willing to go the extra mile
• Able to work in partnership with pupils, parents, staff and governors.
