Job Description:

Monarch Education is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated English Teachers to join our team, working within local Secondary Schools in Banbury. We offer both part-time and full-time positions starting from September 2024. This is an exciting opportunity for passionate educators to inspire and engage students in the study of English language and literature.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Develop and implement creative teaching strategies to enhance students’ learning experience.
  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve teaching practices.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Degree in English or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching English at the secondary school level.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
