Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated English Teachers to join our team, working within various local secondary schools in Oxford. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and NQTs (Newly Qualified Teachers) who are passionate about teaching and committed to student success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons that meet the needs of all students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and support.
  • Develop a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and school staff to enhance the teaching and learning experience.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Degree in English or a related subject.
  • Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and effective teaching practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
