ESOL Teacher

Monarch Education are currently working with an educational setting in Inverness, Scotland who are seeking a part time ESOL Teacher/ Tutor to help support children and adults who have relocated to the UK from overseas. These refugees will require support with skills such as, learning the English language and basic academic essentials

• The role is currently 1 day per week, Fridays each week, however there may also be the possibility of an additional working day on Thursdays
• Hours approximately 9:15am – 5pm per day (including paid admin time)
• Start date: ASAP
• £20- £40 Per Hour Earnings
• Role duration: Expected to continue for at least 6 months, possibly longer

The ideal candidates will have prior experience working with children or adults to whom they have supported in teaching English as an additional language.

Qualifications such as TEFL or ESOL would be ideal, but not essential if you possess experience.

You would work alongside a team of individuals to provide emotional support and mentoring as well as basic academic support

• Providing feedback and assessments
