1:1 Teaching Assistant- Year 4 – September Start

Area: Daventry

Salary: £90-£100 per day (varied depending on experience and qualifications)

Hours of work: Full Time (Monday – Friday)

Start date: September

Monarch is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to take on a role at a Primary School in Daventry . The school is known for its community feel and supportive Senior Leadership Team. The Teaching Assistant will be supporting learners to make progress in all subjects. They must have experience working with children, ideally within a school setting.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the classroom teacher
  • Monitoring and evaluation of pupil progress
  • Delivering small group interventions
  • Behaviour management
  • Working closely with other Teaching staff
  • To support a child with additional learning needed and ADHD

Requirements of the candidate:

  • Experience working with young people, ideally in a classroom setting
  • Level Two or Three Teaching Assistant Qualification
  • A strong team player, with excellent organisation and interpersonal skills, who is able to support and inspire children to learn
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management
  • Excellent communication skills
