Design and Technology Teacher (Special Education School)

Are you a passionate and dedicated Design and Technology (DT) Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity? Monarch Education is seeking an enthusiastic DT Teacher to join a special education school in Brockworth, starting in September 2025.

This is a full-time position for an initial three-month contract, with the potential for extension. The role will be paid to the teacher main scale.

As a DT Teacher, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping the learning experiences of students with special educational needs. You’ll be responsible for:

• Planning and delivering engaging and accessible DT lessons tailored to individual student needs.
• Creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students can thrive and develop their practical skills.
• Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback.
• Collaborating with a dedicated team of educators and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for students.

About You

We’re looking for a DT Teacher who is:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Experienced in teaching Design and Technology across various key stages.
• Passionate about working with students with special educational needs.
• Adaptable, patient, and able to differentiate lessons effectively.
• An excellent communicator and team player.
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
