This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Caretaker, particularly someone with a background in school environment’s. Job description:

Being a school caretaker, you will have some key responsibilities which will ensure the school is well operated and making sure everywhere is as safe as possible.

• Managing the cleanliness of all school areas.
• Carrying out general maintenance and repairs on the premises.
• Opening and locking the premises for security.
• Monitor and report any safety issues.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety on the school grounds.
• Conduct regular health and safety checks.
• Manage heating, ventilation and lighting systems.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations within the school premises.
• Liaise with external contractors and service providers.
• Assist with setting up and dismantling equipment for school events and activities.

Requirements:

• Must have previous experience in Caretaking.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work independently and as a team.
• Have a broad range of practical skills.
• Would suitably have a reliable, proactive and flexible
• Committed to the safeguarding and the well being of staff and students.
