This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and strategic individual to lead the development and delivery of a comprehensive careers program that prepares students for successful transitions into further education, training, or employment.

Job description:

Being a school careers leader, you will have some key responsibilities which include:

  • Design, implement, and evaluate a whole school careers strategy.
  • Coordinate a wide range of careers related events, workshops, employer visits, and information sessions.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with external organisations, employers, and education providers.
  • Deliver or be willing to train to deliver one to one careers interviews.
  • Support students with different pathways.
  • Collaborate closely with the school to track and guide student progress beyond school.

Requirements:

  • Experienced in careers education, guidance, or a related field.
  • Careers Guidance qualification (or willingness to train).
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • A proactive and student focused approach.
  • Passion for helping young people achieve their potential.
