Monarch Education is working in partnership with a vibrant and inclusive secondary school in the B8 area of Birmingham to recruit a passionate and experienced Head of Music to start as soon as possible.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic music educator to lead a thriving department, inspire students across all key stages, and contribute to the wider creative life of the school.

The Role:

• Lead and manage the Music department, including curriculum planning and staff development.
• Deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable).
• Organise performances, concerts, and enrichment activities.
• Foster a love of music and creativity in students of all abilities.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Have experience teaching Music in a UK secondary school.
• Demonstrate strong leadership and organisational skills.
• Be passionate about music education and student progress.
• Be available to start immediately.
