Graduate Teaching Assistant

Pay: £95 – £120 per day

Job Type: Full Time, working via Monarch with the view of going permanent

Start Date: As soon as possible

Monarch Education are working in partnership with a number of Secondary schools in the Gloucester area and are looking to recruit Graduate Teaching Assistants who are looking to secure continuous work in one school, and who are thinking about doing a PGCE in the next year.

About the role

• Candidates will be required to deliver pre-planned work to individual pupils and small groups across KS3 and 4
• You will need to ensure an orderly learning environment is maintained
• Work alongside the classroom teacher to ensure a positive learning environment

About the schools:

• We work with a number of small, medium , and large Secondary schools in Swindon
• Some of the schools are LEA and some part of Multi-Academy trusts
• The schools are in Swindon and the immediate surrounding areas

To be considered for the role of Graduate TA you will:

• Be a graduate and having finished your degree
• Have a flexible approach and a clear commitment to working with young people
• Be a strong role model to pupils – professional, reliable and lead by example
