Graduate Teaching Assistant – Birmingham – Immediate Start

Monarch Education are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic secondary school in Birmingham, starting as soon as possible. This full-time role is ideal for recent graduates who are passionate about education and eager to gain hands-on experience in a school setting.

As a Graduate TA, you will support students across a range of subjects, assisting teachers in delivering engaging lessons and helping pupils overcome barriers to learning. You will play a key role in promoting a positive classroom atmosphere and encouraging student progress.

The Candidate will need:

• A degree in any subject (Education, Psychology, English, Maths, or Science preferred)
• A genuine interest in working with young people
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive and flexible approach to supporting learning
• Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting students in lessons and during small group interventions
• Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management
• Helping students understand and engage with lesson content
• Promoting positive behaviour and attitudes to learning
• Providing feedback on student progress to teaching staff
• Contributing to the overall learning environment and school ethos
