Sports Coach

As a Sports Coach, you will lead and assist in delivering high-quality PE lessons and extracurricular activities, working closely with teaching staff to engage students across all year groups. You’ll also play a vital role in encouraging participation, developing skills, and fostering a love for physical activity.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience coaching or teaching sport to young people (school or community setting)
• Strong knowledge of a range of sports and physical education principles
• Excellent communication and motivational skills
• Ability to manage groups and promote positive behaviour
• A proactive and energetic approach to working with students
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the delivery of PE lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Leading small group coaching sessions and extracurricular clubs
• Encouraging student participation and engagement in physical activity
• Assisting with sports events, fixtures, and competitions
• Promoting teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship
• Collaborating with staff to support student progress and wellbeing
