Monarch Education is seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a child in Year 4 at a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Easton. This long-term role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them thrive both academically and emotionally.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide consistent 1:1 support tailored to the child’s individual learning and emotional needs.
• Collaborate with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals to deliver effective interventions.
• Encourage engagement, independence, and confidence in the classroom.
• Track progress and contribute to planning and review meetings.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience supporting children with SEN, ideally in a primary school setting.
• Calm, patient, and nurturing approach to learning and behaviour.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant Certificate) or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
