Teaching Assistant – Primary School – Thornbury

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience working with children (in school or other settings)
• Strong organisational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• A proactive and caring approach to student well-being
• The ability to motivate and support pupils of all abilities
• An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
• Supporting pupils to stay focused and engaged
• Helping to maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Managing behaviour and attendance in line with school policies
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other staff
• Contributing to group activities and school events
