Teacher required – Manchester Primary School, Gorton (M18)

Location: Gorton, Manchester (M18)

Start Date: January 2025

Contract: Full-time, until July 2025

Monarch Education are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Gorton (M18) for a committed and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teacher to join their team from January 2025. This is a full-time position running until the end of the academic year, with the potential for extension.

You will be responsible for delivering high quality teaching and learning to a class of engaged and curious pupils. The school prides itself on fostering a nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported and inspired to achieve their best.

Responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering creative and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and personal development
• Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and support
• Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents to ensure the best outcomes for pupils
• Contributing to school-wide initiatives and extracurricular activities where appropriate
• Upholding the school’s values and behaviour policies

Candidate requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Recent experience teaching in KS2 (Year 3-6)
• Strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• A proactive and reflective approach to teaching
