We are currently working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Droylsden (M43) to recruit a resilient and experienced KS2 Teacher for a full-time role starting in January 2025. This position will run until the end of the academic year, with the potential for extension.

About the Role:

This is a rewarding opportunity for a teacher who thrives in a dynamic classroom environment and has a strong background in supporting pupils with complex Special Educational Needs (SEN). The successful candidate will be teaching a Key Stage 2 class, where many pupils require tailored support and consistent behaviour strategies to help them access learning effectively.

You will be responsible for:

• Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
• Supporting pupils with a range of complex SEN, including autism, ADHD and social/emotional needs
• Implementing effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment
• Working closely with the school’s SENCO, support staff and external agencies
• Monitoring pupil progress and adapting teaching approaches to meet individual needs
• Building strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven experience teaching in KS2
• Experience working with children with complex SEN
• Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, consistent approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
