Year 6 Class Teacher (Part-Time, Mornings Only) – Immediate Start
Location: Handsworth, Birmingham
Hours: Monday to Friday – 8:30am to 12:30pm
Start: ASAP | End: July 2026

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Year 6 Class Teacher to join our dedicated team on a part-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to raising attainment and making a real impact in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach a Year 6 class every morning, Monday to Friday.
  • Plan engaging and effective lessons in collaboration with the parallel Year 6 teacher.
  • Deliver high-quality teaching that supports pupils in achieving their full potential.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching as needed.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Proven experience teaching Upper Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6.
  • Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and SATs preparation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a supportive team environment.
  • A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
