Monarch Education is seeking a passionate and experienced SEND Teacher to join the supportive team at a Primary School in B33 in Birmingham. This exciting opportunity is based within the school’s dedicated Resource Base team, where you will play a vital role along with other teachers and multiple TA’s supporting a small group supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to help the system they have in place run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, personalised lessons to pupils with SEND, ensuring progress against individual learning plans and EHCP targets.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that promotes independence and emotional wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with the other Teachers, SENDCO, support staff, and external professionals to provide holistic support for each child.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet evolving needs.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues to foster a positive and consistent support network.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in SEND education preferably (can be unqual but NEEDS to
  • Proven experience working with children with a range of needs including ASD, SEMH, and speech and language difficulties.
  • Strong understanding of inclusive teaching practices and the SEND Code of Practice.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and behaviour management skills.
  • A commitment to nurturing and empowering every child to reach their full potential.
