Job Title: PPA & Intervention Teacher – KS1 & KS2
Location: Quinton, Birmingham (B32)
Contract Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday)
Salary: £162.31 – £235 per day
Start Date: ASAP

Monarch Education is currently recruiting for a flexible and experienced PPA & Intervention Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Quinton, Birmingham (B32). This full-time role involves delivering high-quality lessons across KS1 and KS2, as well as targeted intervention sessions to support pupil progress.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide PPA cover across KS1 and KS2, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Plan and deliver targeted intervention sessions to support pupils in closing gaps in learning and achieving their potential.
• Work collaboratively with class teachers, SENCO, and support staff to identify learning needs and tailor support accordingly.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes confidence, independence, and active learning.
• Track pupil progress and contribute to planning and assessment across year groups.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – not open to ECTs.
• Proven experience teaching across KS1 and KS2.
• Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective intervention strategies.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching to meet the needs of diverse learners.
