Monarch Education is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Biology Teacher to join a thriving science department at a respected secondary school in the WR11 area. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and well-structured Biology lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Contribute to the development of a rigorous and stimulating science curriculum.
• Create a classroom culture that promotes respect, inquiry, and academic growth.
• Integrate modern teaching methods and digital tools to enhance learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to support cross-disciplinary initiatives and enrichment activities.
• Maintain clear communication with students, parents, and staff to foster a supportive learning community.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to refine teaching practice and subject expertise.

Skills and Qualifications:

• A degree in Biology or a closely related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
• Experience teaching Biology at secondary level, ideally including A-Level.
• Strong grasp of the National Curriculum and current assessment frameworks.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to tailor instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Competence in using educational technology to support teaching and learning.
