Teaching Assistant – DN4 Area

Start Date: As soon as possible
Schedule: Full-time (Monday to Friday)
Pay Rate: £95 per day (inclusive of holiday pay)
Contract: Full-time

We are seeking a patient, caring, and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive primary school in the DN4 area. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by providing tailored support to pupils with special educational needs such as Autistic Spectrum Conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEND to access the curriculum and achieve their potential.
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual learning plans.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children with SEND (preferred).
• Strong understanding of strategies to support diverse learning needs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.
