Psychology Teacher (QTS) – A-Level | Term 3 Start

Location: South Gloucestershire
Contract: Full-time, Temporary (Term 3)
Salary: MPS/UPS (Dependent on Experience)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Psychology Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school in South Gloucestershire. This role, starting at the beginning of Term 3 (January 2026), is ideal for a teacher passionate about inspiring students and helping them achieve success at A-Level Psychology.

About the Role

You’ll be delivering engaging and well-structured Psychology lessons at A-Level, helping students develop analytical skills, critical thinking, and a deep understanding of psychological theories and research. The school encourages creativity and supports teachers in delivering a curriculum that is both challenging and accessible.

Key Responsibilities

Teach Psychology at A-Level

Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons

Support students in developing exam techniques and independent learning skills

Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental initiatives

Maintain high standards of behaviour and academic progress

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment

What We’re Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Strong subject knowledge in Psychology

Experience teaching A-Level Psychology desirable

Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

A passion for teaching and student success

A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
