Teaching Assistant – Dursley Area

Location: Dursley, Gloucestershire
Pay: £444.60 – £529.45 per week
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time options available

About the Role:
Monarch Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in the Dursley area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children’s learning and development, particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEN.
• Assist the class teacher in creating an inclusive learning environment.
• Help implement individual education plans (IEPs) and monitor progress.
• Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience working with SEN children is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A patient, caring, and proactive approach to supporting learning.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
