Salary: £92.59 – £110.24 per day
About the Role
Monarch Education is currently seeking a dedicated and adaptable Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work within a vibrant primary school in the Oldham area. This is a full-time position starting in September 2026 and continuing for the remainder of the academic year.
This is a varied and rewarding role, requiring flexibility to work across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, supporting teaching staff and helping to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment for all pupils.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide classroom support across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 as required
- Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management
- Deliver targeted support to small groups and individual pupils
- Support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), adapting approaches to meet individual learning needs
- Help maintain a positive, safe and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)
- Previous experience working within a primary school setting
- Confidence supporting learners across EYFS to KS2
- Experience or willingness to support children with SEN
- Flexible, proactive and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
