Monarch Education are working with a primary school in Bournville to recruit a HLTA on a full-time basis.

About the role:

• Leading classes in the absence of the teacher
• Covering PPA across different year groups
• Supporting teaching and learning across the school
• Working closely with teachers and support staff
• Providing 1:1 support for pupils with SEN where needed
• Helping to maintain a positive and structured classroom environment

What we’re looking for:

• HLTA status or relevant experience – essential
• Experience leading classes independently
• Previous experience covering PPA
• Background as a TA in a primary setting
• Experience supporting pupils with SEN on a 1:1 basis
• Good behaviour management and a flexible approach
