SEND Teacher
Area: Birmingham
Hours: 3 Days per Week (Ideally Wednesday – Friday, although flexibility can be offered for the right candidate)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Start Date: ASAP / September
Monarch Education are working with a specialist primary setting in Birmingham to recruit an experienced and passionate SEND Teacher on a part-time basis, working 3 days per week.
This role involves supporting pupils with complex Autism and associated additional needs within a specialist environment. Due to the nature of the role, applicants must have experience working directly with children with complex Autism. Experience gained solely within a mainstream classroom setting may not provide the specialist skills required for this position.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, tailored lessons that meet individual learning needs, while creating a structured, nurturing, and inclusive environment where pupils can thrive both academically and socially.
You will work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and senior leaders to support pupils with a range of needs, helping them develop communication, independence, and life skills.
What we’re looking for:
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team and make a real difference to the lives of children with complex needs.
