Monarch Education is recruiting a dedicated and professional Admin Assistant to join a supportive school team. You’ll be the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and students, providing excellent customer service while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school office.

The Role

  • Provide a professional and welcoming reception service for visitors, parents, pupils, and staff
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and enquiries, directing them appropriately
  • Maintain accurate records, attendance data, and school documentation
  • Support the day-to-day administration of the school office
  • Assist with visitor sign-in procedures and ensure safeguarding processes are followed
  • Work closely with staff and leadership teams to support the smooth running of the school

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience in an administrative, reception, or customer service role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Good IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work professionally within a school environment
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  • Right to work in the UK
