Essential Requirements
To be considered for this Early Years Practitioner role in Tameside, you must have:
- A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education (or equivalent)
- Previous experience working within a nursery, preschool, childcare or early years setting
- Sound knowledge of the EYFS Framework
- An enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
- The right to work in the UK
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s development and learning

The Role
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will support children’s learning and development through play-based activities and positive interactions, helping them reach key developmental milestones.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Supporting the delivery of activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment
- Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
- Supporting children’s social, emotional and educational development
- Observing, monitoring and recording children’s progress
- Promoting safeguarding, health and wellbeing at all times
- Supporting routines including mealtimes, play sessions and learning activities
