Monarch Education is currently recruiting for a nurturing and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Northfield area of Birmingham. This is a full-time, long-term position supporting children within the Early Years Foundation Stage.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated EYFS practitioner who is passionate about helping young children thrive in a stimulating and supportive learning environment.

The Role

  • Supporting teaching and learning within the EYFS classroom
  • Delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Supporting pupils’ social, emotional and educational development
  • Assisting with observations, assessments and learning journeys
  • Helping to create a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment
  • Working closely with the class teacher and wider EYFS team

Requirements

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (essential)
  • Previous experience working within an EYFS setting
  • A sound understanding of the EYFS curriculum
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A caring and patient approach to supporting young learners
