KS2 Teacher – Full-Time Opportunity | Saltley, Birmingham

We are currently working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Saltley that is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or a confident ECT looking to develop their career within a supportive and inclusive school environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, maintaining high standards of teaching and learning, and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential.

Working Hours:

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday
  • Term Time Only

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes pupil achievement.
  • Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress, adapting teaching where necessary.
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND and EAL.
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour, attainment, and attendance.
  • Work effectively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to support pupil outcomes.
  • Participate in staff meetings, school events, and professional development opportunities.
  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of all children at all times.

To Apply, You Must:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management skills.
  • Have a good understanding of the National Curriculum and current educational practices.
  • Be able to plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and challenge pupils.
  • Be passionate about helping children achieve their full potential.
  • Possess excellent communication and organisational skills.

Salary: £150 – £240 per day (Reviewed after 12 weeks placement*)
