We are seeking to appoint an excellent classroom practitioner to join our committed teaching team from September 2026. This post offers an exciting opportunity to teach within either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2. Final year group placement will be determined following the recruitment process, taking into account the strengths, experience and expertise of the successful candidate alongside the needs of the school.

This role is ideal for a passionate and reflective teacher who is committed to high‑quality teaching, strong relationships and making a meaningful difference to children’s lives.

  • Understand and value the Mastery approach to teaching mathematics (NCETM)
  • Be committed to developing the school’s Learning Powers with children
  • Recognise the importance of building strong relationships with pupils and the central role of the teacher in a child’s life
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that meets the needs of all children
  • Build strong partnerships with parents and encourage active involvement in children’s learning
  • Have enthusiasm for contributing to all aspects of school life, including residential trips, performances, assemblies and community events
  • Be willing to lead a subject
  • Have a good sense of humour
