Monarch Education is currently recruiting on behalf of a thriving secondary school in the Birmingham area for an experienced and qualified Religious Education Teacher to join their team immediately on a full-time, long-term temporary basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and dedicated RE Teacher to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that encourage critical thinking, discussion, and a deeper understanding of different beliefs, cultures and ethical perspectives.
You will be responsible for:
- Delivering high-quality RE lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student progress.
- Assessing, monitoring and reporting on student achievement.
- Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of learners of varying abilities.
- Contributing positively to the wider school community and departmental objectives.
- Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
To be considered for this role, you will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Have experience teaching Religious Education at KS3 and KS4.
- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for RE.
- Be confident in managing behaviour and fostering positive relationships with students.
- Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Be committed to raising attainment and supporting student success.

Salary: £165-£262 per day (Dependent on experience)
