Monarch Education are recruiting a Year 5 Teacher for a maternity cover position in a primary school in Derbyshire, DE5.
This is a full time role covering from 8 June through to 23 July, ideal for an experienced primary teacher who can quickly build rapport and maintain continuity of learning.
About the Role
You will be responsible for delivering the Year 5 curriculum, managing the classroom effectively and ensuring pupils remain engaged and progressing during this short term cover period.
The school is looking for a reliable and confident teacher who can integrate into the team and provide consistent, high quality teaching.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and structured lessons in line with the Year 5 curriculum
Plan, prepare and assess pupils work
Manage classroom behaviour effectively
Support pupil progress and attainment
Work collaboratively with staff and communicate with parents where required
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status
Experience teaching in Key Stage 2
Strong classroom management skills
Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons
Reliable and adaptable approach
Strong communication and organisational skills
