Monarch Education is working with secondary schools across Northampton and the surrounding areas and is looking to recruit talented Science Teachers for a range of exciting opportunities.

Whether your specialism is Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or General Science, we have a variety of roles available across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5.

As a GCA-approved supplier across both Lot 1 and Lot 2, we have access to a large network of schools, giving our teachers access to more opportunities, more choice and more consistent work throughout the academic year.

The Role

As a Science Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring Science lessons that support student progress and achievement
  • Teach across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 opportunities available depending on experience and specialism
  • Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Monitor and track student progress effectively
  • Support students in developing scientific knowledge, practical skills and a passion for learning

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Science within a UK secondary school
  • UK teaching experience clearly evidenced on your CV
  • Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, Physics or General Science
  • ECTs are welcome to apply
