Monarch Education are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support a welcoming primary school in West Bromwich. This is a full-time opportunity to work with pupils who require additional support, alongside assisting with general classroom learning.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) on a 1:1 and small group basis, helping them access the curriculum and make academic progress. You will also assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons, adapting resources, and maintaining a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support pupils with SEN on a 1:1 and group basis
  • Deliver targeted interventions to support academic progress
  • Assist the class teacher with classroom activities
  • Adapt resources to meet individual learning needs
  • Promote positive behaviour and engagement

Essential Requirements – Apply Only If You Meet All Criteria

  • Level 3 qualification in Education (e.g. Teaching Assistant, Supporting Teaching & Learning or equivalent)
  • Proven experience working in a UK primary school
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEN
  • Ability to clearly evidence all qualifications and experience within your CV
