Monarch Education is working with a primary school in Selly Oak to recruit a Male Teaching Assistant for a 1:1 support role with a pupil with additional needs.
The requirement for a male candidate is in line with a genuine occupational requirement for this position.
Role Overview
- Provide 1:1 support based on individual learning and behavioural needs
- Support EHCP targets and learning plans
- Assist with classroom activities and participation
- Follow behaviour management strategies set by the school
- Work with the class teacher, SENCO, and staff
- Record and report pupil progress
Requirements – please only apply should you be able to evidence the below
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Minimum 12 weeks’ UK school experience
- Experience supporting pupils with SEN (ASD, ADHD, SEMH)
