Teaching Assistant

Monarch Education are recruiting on behalf of a well-established Multi-Academy Trust in Nuneaton for SEND Teaching Assistants.

We are looking for caring, patient, and dedicated individuals to support pupils with a range of additional needs across Primary and Secondary settings.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced SEND Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants, or individuals with relevant care and support experience who are passionate about making a difference in children’s lives.

The Role

• Supporting pupils with SEND on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Working with pupils with Autism (ASC), SEMH, ADHD, communication and learning difficulties
• Assisting the class teacher with delivering engaging lessons
• Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
• Helping pupils access the curriculum and achieve their full potential
• Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND
• A calm, patient, and resilient approach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
• Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential
