Monarch Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and well-established Multi-Academy Trust in Nuneaton and are looking for compassionate, resilient and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to join their schools.

Whether you are an experienced Teaching Assistant or looking to transfer your skills into education, this is a fantastic opportunity to support children and young people with additional needs and make a genuine difference to their lives.

The Role

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting pupils with a variety of additional needs to help them engage with learning, develop confidence and achieve their full potential.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Providing 1:1 support and small group interventions
• Supporting pupils with Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and learning difficulties
• Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
• Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
• Encouraging independence and social development
• Adapting support to meet individual learning needs
• Monitoring and reporting on pupil progress
• Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
• Helping to create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
