Monarch Education are working in partnership with a specialist SEND school in Coventry and are looking for compassionate, resilient and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to join their team.

The Role

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them access learning, build independence and achieve their individual goals.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Providing 1:1 support and small group interventions
• Supporting pupils with Autism (ASC), ADHD, communication needs and learning difficulties
• Encouraging independence, confidence and social development
• Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
• Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and personalised learning activities
• Supporting pupils with daily routines and life skills development
• Monitoring and reporting on pupil progress
• Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
• Helping create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment
