Monarch Education are working in partnership with a specialist SEND school in Warwick and are looking for compassionate, resilient and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to join their team.

This is an exciting opportunity to support children and young people aged 4-19 with a range of additional needs. The school places children, young people and their families at the heart of everything they do and is committed to helping every pupil feel safe, valued and able to thrive.

The Role

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them access learning, develop independence and build confidence both in and out of the classroom.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Providing 1:1 and small group support
• Supporting pupils with Autism (ASC), Speech and Language needs, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and other additional needs
• Assisting teachers to deliver engaging and personalised learning activities
• Encouraging independence, communication and social development
• Supporting pupils with life skills and daily routines
• Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
• Monitoring and reporting on pupil progress
• Building positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and families
• Creating a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
