Contract: Temporary to Permanent – ASAP
Pay Rate: £92.59 – £120 per day (dependent on experience)

Monarch Education is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and specialist SEND school in Stafford that supports Primary and Secondary-aged pupils with a range of additional needs including SEMH, ASD, SLD, MLD, communication needs, and challenging behaviours.

The Role
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Adapt learning activities to meet individual EHCP targets and needs
- Promote communication, emotional regulation, and independence
- Support pupils with SEMH, autism, speech and language difficulties, and complex learning needs
- Build positive relationships and act as a trusted adult role model
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and SEND professionals
- Assist with personal care where required
- Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children or young people in education, care, support work, youth work, coaching, or residential setting
- A patient, resilient, and empathetic approach
- Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
- A genuine passion for supporting pupils with SEND
- The ability to remain calm, positive, and proactive in challenging situations
