Monarch Education is currently recruiting dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to work across a range of welcoming primary schools in Oldham. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference to the lives of children who require additional support to access learning and achieve their full potential.

We are looking for caring, adaptable and proactive individuals who are happy to work across different year groups, supporting pupils with a variety of needs.

The Role

• Support children with SEND on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Assist pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties and complex needs
• Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to help deliver tailored support
• Encourage engagement, independence and positive social interaction
• Adapt to different year groups and classroom environments as required
• Provide personal care when necessary, ensuring dignity and wellbeing at all times
• Help create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience supporting children with SEND in a school, care or similar setting
• A genuine passion for working with children with additional needs
• A patient, positive and caring approach
• Flexibility to work across different primary age groups
• Willingness to provide personal care where required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Full-time availability is preferred, although part-time applicants will also be considered
